Did anyone notice I was gone?

// Posted in My Life, My Religion, My Thoughts by Nielfa Hanifa on 03.02.10.

Didn’t think so… but just thought I’d check in on my little place of babbles (out of guilt for neglecting it).

So what’s to share? Nothing much… It was my crown birthday December last year (I know that’s practically 3 months ago,) and now I’m 28 *gasp*. I received a beautiful pen and pencil gift set from Zeen to match a Moleskine; and my parents and siblings bought me a MacBook Pro. The perfect combination of traditional writing tools and sophisticated technology to fit me :)

I’m also about to become an aunt for the first time in the next few weeks. Hopefully not before the 13th of March, because I’m planning the cutest baby shower for my sister. It’s not a surprise as such, but I’m not giving away the theme because I know she reads my blog and has been vexing to find out what it is. I will post some photos, I’m way too excited about it not to show off my well thought out theme afterward.

To end off, it’s the month of Mawlud and this past weekend has been so special to me. I have listened to the erudite Habib Umar bin Hafiz and have been touched so deeply, I cannot find any words to explain how. In the last few days I have experienced esteemed events and have received sacred gifts, it has left me feeling so blessed that I’m not sure I can express my gratitude enough. Alhamdulillah…

ﺍﻠﻠﻬﻢ ﺼﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺴﻴﺪﻧﺎ ﻤﺤﻤﺪ ﻮ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺁﻞ ﺴﻴﺪﻧﺎ ﻤﺤﻤﺪ ﺼﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻮﺴﻠﻢ

Add on: I just recently realised… my birthday according to the Islamic Calendar, is on the 1st of Rabi ul-Awwal :)
